The NES MPS V2.0 Is well on its way.
Here is a brief overview of the planned features. The first one wasn’t functional enough in my opinion.
NES MPS V2.0 Specs
Dual DMG gameboys (synced - 1 master 1 slave)
ArduinoBoy MIDI In and Out (To the master DMG)
2 Stereo Analogue Low Pass Filters (1 For Each DMG)
Pitch Bend Wheel (With LTC1799 Precision Oscillator)
LoFi Delay Circuit
LoFi Distortion

Right guys, since MIDINES is so hard to get hold...
Im creating a solution. My plan is to house an Arduino inside the NES to comunicate MIDI data through the controller port.
What I want from this project is to create a fully usable 8BIT MIDI synthesizer. I’m going to build the controller into the body of the nes and have a flash cart running FaMI (or family MIDI) After all the basic stuff is done and the arduino is communicating MIDI data...

Im finishing the NES MPS Today
Finally! After soldering about 150 connections on the unit twice over. It’s almost done!
Were going to make sort of an advert when my friend Dom gets his Cannon 5D. Not going to say much more, but it’s gonna be great. Once the “Advert” is done and uploaded then it’s officialy for sale!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PIECE OF GEAR?
An old Roland JV-35 i spotted in the practice room in my old school about 5 years ago. I Asked my music teacher if i could “borrow” it. She gave it me anyway, Couldn’t have been more grateful. Shortly after that she let me take an old Citronic 12 channel mixing board!

The NESBoy or however you call it seems perfect :D I suggest you not to paint it cause it seems cool. But maybe if would ever make another I suggest to make it of some dark color

Thanks, im glad you like it! I think i might just leave the color scheme as it is. I think painting the pots might just result in flaking paint in the future. Though the contrast between the knobs...
